Diana Reeves

Diana Reeves is an accomplished leader, changemaker, and community advocate whose life is defined by her dedication to service. With a passion for empowering others, she has created a legacy of compassion, mentorship, and leadership that touches every aspect of her professional and personal endeavors.
As the Founder and President of KBM Community Development Corporation, Diana established a nonprofit organization in November 2021 to deliver resources, love, and support to underserved communities. Through this platform, she launched “The BEcome Project”, a program designed to guide young women, aged 18-25, transitioning out of the foster care system toward independence and fulfillment. By partnering with community organizations such as the APG Federal Credit Union, Susquehanna Workforce Network, Department of Social Services, and others, brings meaningful collaboration to amplify KBM’s outreach and impact.
Diana’s academic foundation includes a MBA and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Management Concentration). Diana has serves on multiple community boards, including Arrow Child and Family Ministries National Board of Directors and Arrow’s Advisory Committee in Maryland where she volunteered for over eight years. She has been an advocate for youth development as a member of the Susquehanna Workforce Network Youth Committee. Recognized for her impact, she was named Harford County Champion for Children and Youth in 2019 and named a 2025 Unsung SHERO Award by the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc.
Diana believes that giving is a fundamental principle of the Kingdom of God, whether supporting the underprivileged, mentoring the next generation, or building resilience within communities, Diana Reeves, continues to exemplify what it means to lead with purpose and integrity.

Ms. Wendy LaRoche

Wendy LaRoche serves as Vice President of the BEcome Project, bringing over 25 years of leadership experience in both the public and private sectors. Her diverse background includes healthcare management, program development, and health promotion and education. As a Master Certified Health Education Specialist with a Master of Education in Community Health Education, Wendy is widely respected for her strengths in coalition building, community mobilization, and forging partnerships that uplift underserved populations.
In her role, Wendy collaborates closely with the Founder, President, and Board Members to execute the organization’s strategic plan, mission and goals. She leads the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs designed to meet the evolving needs of young women aging-out of foster care. Additionally, she supports the organization’s sustainability through grant writing and serves as a visible ambassador at community events, ensuring the BEcome Project’s resources are used effectively and responsibly.
Wendy approaches her work with a deep commitment to empowering young women – particularly young mothers—by expanding access to essential services, mentorship, and opportunity. Drawing on her experience as a children’s author and Sunday school lead teacher, she also works to inspire the children of program participants to realize their full potential. Her efforts are grounded in the belief that strong, connected communities and families are key to breaking cycles of generational poverty and building lasting success.

With many years of experience coordinating support for youth and families, including special education services, mental health administration, residential counseling, and program and event management, I bring a deep understanding of the emotional, educational, and practical challenges faced by young people transitioning into independence.
Throughout my career, I have developed the ability to build trusting relationships, communicate with empathy and clarity, and maintain strong compliance, documentation, and consistency across services. Aligned with The BEcome Project’s mission to empower young women aging out of foster care through holistic support, mentorship, and life-skills development, I offer a unique perspective that bridges both the systemic and personal aspects of care.
I understand the operational side of coordination, compliance, and oversight, as well as the human side of trauma-informed support, behavioral guidance, and family collaboration. I am deeply committed to The BEcome Project’s values of empowerment, compassion, community, growth, and resilience, and I am motivated to contribute thoughtful oversight, program insight, and a compassionate voice to support the organization’s strategic growth and long-term impact.
