LTC Kenneth B. Fowler

Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Kenneth “Shark” Fowler was born in Brooklyn, NY but raised in Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. He was raised in consistent poverty as the middle child of 3 by a single mother from Barbados. Growing up in the Caribbean, he survived over 30 hurricanes yet started his first company at the age of 13 (landscaping).

Kenny graduated from South Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and from Trident University International with a Master of Business Administration in Strategic Leadership. He is also a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, is a Demonstrated Senior Logistician, and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

As a Paratrooper, Kenny has completed multiple deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kuwait. His tactical, operational, and strategic assignments include numerous travels across the United States, Europe, and Australia. He was named Marquis Who’s Who in America in 2023, which displays the profiles of accomplished professionals and global leaders. This compilation is released once a year and lists individuals based on career accomplishments and societal impacts.

As an introvert that wanted to start a company, Kenny decided to start a company that included reduced human interaction. Books such as “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki and “The Millionaire Next Door” by Thomas Stanley significantly shaped his real estate journey. He purchased his first home during 2008 in North Carolina at the age of 25 and established Fowler Estates LLC. He quickly realized that Atlanta, Georgia had a more lucrative real estate market than where he lived; therefore, he spent the vast majority of his weekends driving 6 hours to Atlanta from North Carolina in search of potential properties for purchase. He purchased his first Georgia rental property at the age of 27 and secured a tenant before the first mortgage payment was due. He began purchasing foreclosed single-family homes but after getting yelled at by his grandmother in NYC, he began purchasing multi-family homes. Kenny secured 15 properties between the ages of 25 and 38, 14 of those properties are rental properties. As a result of his property acquisitions, he became a millionaire at the age of 28 and became a multi-millionaire at the age of 34. He has provided speeches at the high school and collegiate level, as well as provided mentorship for multiple real estate investors. He enjoys practicing a strategy known as “Stealth Wealth”.

Kenny currently serves as the Senior Acquisition Officer and Deputy, Combat Development Division of the Unites States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC). He will be retiring in a few months with over 22 years of service after serving most of his career with the 82nd Airborne Division and the Special Operations community out of Fort Bragg, NC.

LTC Fowler is married to Edith Soto-Fowler from Aguada, Puerto Rico and has an 18-year-old daughter (Kayla) and a 7-year-old daughter (Kaleigh).
